2020 season update
Due to the announcement made by the Alberta Government that all outdoor activities throughout the summer are being limited to fifteen people, Ponoka Minor Soccer Association has made the difficult decision to cancel our 2020 outdoor season. In the event that there is a significant change in the recent policies re: the Covid-19 health crisis and a potential for return to normal summer activities, PMSA will work to provide opportunity for players; until that happens, we felt refunding people was the best course of action.
We will begin the process of refunding all registration fees, volunteer levies and charges for apparel. Refunds will be issued by cheque only and will be mailed out to the parent/guardian of players. Please be patient with us as our volunteers must administrate the process of refunding families; we had over 300 players registered. Ponoka Minor Soccer Association is committed to further the sport of soccer in our community and will try to work with Alberta Soccer & Central Alberta Soccer to entertain the possibility of keeping minimal programming in operation. Fees for insurance and availability of facilities will play a big part in the feasibility of such plans. At this time, we can make no such guarantees that there will be programs beyond our promise to do our best!
