Developmental programs are designed to give kids an opportunity to grow basic skills while having fun, playing games that are age appropriate and proven beneficial.  Programs run one evening per week from mid-October to mid-March with a break at Christmas.  Our coaches follow manuals which have been provided by Alberta Soccer.

EQUIPMENT:

Your child will need clean, non-marking running shoes, shin pads and soccer socks.   We will provide them a T-shirt which is theirs to keep.  Program will begin mid-October and run until mid-March depending on facility.  There will be a break during Christmas holidays.

COMPETITIVE/TRAVELLING TEAM

UNDER 12 - KIDS BORN IN 2006 and 2007  - TRAINING DAY TO BE ANNOUNCED - $ 250.00 FEE

This team will compete in a C.A.S.A. League so some travel will be required.  Games will be on weekends - schedule will be developed by C.A.S.A.   We recommend that your child have proper indoor soccer shoes as they perform better and provide better traction and stability for playing on turf pitches.  Shin pads and soccer socks are required.  We will provide a uniform for your child which will be returned to us at the end of the season.   A $ 50.00 refundable jersey deposit is required.

IF YOUR CHILD IS OLDER THAN THE UNDER 12 AGE GROUP,  THERE ARE OPTIONS WITHIN C.A.S.A. FOR THOSE KIDS WHO ARE INTERESTED IN PLAYING WITH ANOTHER COMMUNITY, PROVIDED PARENTS ARE WILLING TO DO THE EXTRA DRIVING.  YOU CAN CONTACT OUR INDOOR PROGRAM CO-ORDINATOR, GREG BENDERA, gbendera@telus.net OR OUR REGISTRAR, MICHELLE BLANCHETTE, registrar@ponokasoccer.ca.

FINANCIAL INFORMATION:

We take payment  in cash or cheque only.  We will accept post-dated cheques, and if you need to make more than one payment to us to cover fees that is fine also.  An NSF cheque could result in your child being removed from a program.

KidSport and JumpStart programs are available to assist families in need.    Ponoka Soccer's Registrar will provide information  pertaining to our fees; it is up to parents/guardians to provide necessary supporting documents and submit the forms to KidSport.  You can make arrangements with our Registrar by email:  registrar@ponokasoccer.ca.

RECEIPTS

Formal receipts will not be provided at registration.  At the bottom of page one on our registration form is a section for method of payment and parent/guardian signature which is an acknowledgement that P.M.S.A. received money from you.   If you require a receipt immediately for foster children or other purposes, please advise the Registrar and arrangements will be made to email a receipt to you as soon as possible.
